Equal Pay as the Foundation of a Fair Future:
Lisrec Is Changing the Game
We are proud to have Lenka Šťastná on the Lisrec Board – the founder of the Czech project Equal Pay Day, which has been breaking stereotypes, opening crucial discussions, and inspiring companies to drive real change for years.
Through her leadership, we’re directly connected to global initiatives such as G100 – Global 100 Women Leaders, where Lenka contributes to advancing international gender justice and fair transformation of corporate culture.
For us, equal pay is not a one-time gesture – it’s part of our DNA.
- Transparent compensation principles – we set pay based on experience, contribution, and responsibility, not stereotypes or outdated traditions.
- Regular monitoring – across all Lisrec projects, we analyze gender pay gaps and take real-time action to address them.
- Empowering women in technical and leadership roles – we create a safe environment for women to grow in fields where they are often undervalued.
- Education and mentoring – we collaborate with equality experts and nurture an internal culture grounded in trust and respect.
Pay inequality between men and women isn’t just an individual issue – it affects the economy, community cohesion, and the future of our children.
According to data from Equal Pay Day, women in the Czech Republic must work, on average, more than two months longer to earn the same annual income as their male colleagues. This isn’t only unfair – it’s inefficient, demotivating, and counterproductive for societal progress.
As a global community focused on ecological construction and sustainable living, Lisrec understands that justice must be holistic. It’s not enough to recycle plastic, build self-sufficient homes, and protect nature. We must also transform human relationships and workplace structures.
Equal pay is the cornerstone of that transformation – and at Lisrec, we lead by example.
